These sorcerers are granted their magical affinity through a symbiotic relationship developed by surviving some powerful curse or magical affliction which would ordinarily be fatal to most. These uniquely gifted individuals may instead harness the power of the magic infused within their blood to protect themselves from other magics that would do them harm, absorbing this energy and even feeding off of the magic of others, as well as to make use of necromantic spells that are outside of realm of possibility to most sorcerers.
